How to mend a broken heart?

I never thought that i would ask my self that question….Well it all started 4 years ago , i broke up with my long term relationship boyfriend, after 6 years of dating, i feel like i’m losing myself,  i don’t go out with my friends, i don’t even look at the stars smiling like i used to, and the worse part is i don’t know why am i even here? I always believe that we are here, created by God, on purpose. But i tragically lost my track back then…  i spent a whole month crying myself out, regretting everything, every bad decission i’ve ever made… and suddenly, something whisper to my ear and say, if you feel lost, go back to nature, and you’ll find the answer…

I’ve always loved nature, i love travelling and go to the beach whenever i need to be alone and find comfort… but then i’m too busy working and being in a relationship, i start focusing on what’s important for him, what makes him happy instead of what i really want.. But you know, everything has an end, and i’m glad that i could get away from that unhealthy relationship, i want to be happy, i need to be happy…

I’m so lucky, when in time i needed most,  i have friends who have always got my back, they never leave me, even when i’m not around lately, they embrace me with open arms, and i know i will be forever indebted tou you guys…!!! I finally get my life back, i hang out with my friends every weekend, enjoying music and then we start to talk about how we need to explore our beautiful city, it’s not a big city like jakarta or any other cities in indonesia, but this is home, we grew up here, we knew people and  our family is here too.

Gorontalo is located in the north sulawesi indonesia, i bet some of you have never heard of it before, but i think for most Europeans, this city is quite famous. They were here for the Togeans which is located in central sulawesi but its closest from Gorontalo than Palu, the capital city of central sulawesi.. I met a lot of tourists at the café where me and my friends used to hang out to and they ask so many questions about Indonesia in general and Gorontalo in particular.. 

That’s why i decided to blog about it, take my chances, to provide all the practical information they need, show them the beautiful and not so touristic place they can enjoy, with the nice weather, and very affordable  price. There are only a few blog or articles written in english, all the information they could possibly  get is from the lonely planet book or website but you know, everything changes, the price, the name of the street, the place that no longer exists  but  still written on that book. They need updates, so i’m thinking why not play a good host? You know eastern hospitality. I want the world to know and see how beautiful Indonesia, home to exotic islands and thousands of beaches…
